Southwest Potato Cheese
This delicious soup is a mixture of freshly cut potatoes bathed in a creamy mixture of white American cheese and heavy cream, then induced with cut red peppers and diced onions smoothed with southwestern seasonings.
Major Ingredients
- Freshly Cut Potatoes
- Heavy Cream
- White American Cheese
- Butter
- Red Peppers
- Diced Onions
Preparation Tips
Serve hot and garnish with freshly grated cheese, diced green onions and slices of warm, crusty fresh bread for dipping.
Heating Instructions
Foodservice
- Reheat package in either boiling water or steamer
- Carefully remove package with insulated gloves
- Suspend the package in or slightly above the container that it is to be placed within
- Using a sharp, sanitized knife, make a two inch incision in the top corner of the package
- Carefully and slowly, lift the bag upward allowing the product to drain completely out of the package.
Retail Cups
- Remove bowl from box. Slightly pull back the tab of film to vent.
- Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes. Since ovens vary, cooking time may require adjusting.
- Carefully peel back film & stir thoroughly. If soup isn't fully heated, replace film and heat soup on high for up to one minute. Use caution as bowl may be hot.
- Let stand for one minute before serving. Enjoy!
