Potato Cabbage & Bacon

 

A rustic farmhouse favorite, Chef Creation’s Potato, Cabbage and Bacon Soup provides a warming, hearty mix of Romanian Cabbage, hand-picked Russet potatoes, and bundles of bacon bits flavored with sweet Hungarian paprika and silky heavy cream. 

Major Ingredients 

  • Freshly Cut Cabbage
  • Bacon Bits
  • Diced Potatoes
  • Chicken Base
  • Cut Onions
  • Heavy Cream
  • Finely Cut Celery
  • Sweet Hungarian Paprika

Preparation Tips

Add color by garnishing this dish with snipped chives, bacon bits and shredded white American cheese.  

Heating Instructions

Foodservice

  1. Reheat package in either boiling water or steamer
  2. Carefully remove package with insulated gloves
  3. Suspend the package in or slightly above the container that it is to be placed within
  4. Using a sharp, sanitized knife, make a two inch incision in the top corner of the package
  5. Carefully and slowly, lift the bag upward allowing the product to drain completely out of the package.

Retail Cups

  1. Remove bowl from box. Slightly pull back the tab of film to vent.
  2. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes. Since ovens vary, cooking time may require adjusting.
  3. Carefully peel back film & stir thoroughly. If soup isn't fully heated, replace film and heat soup on high for up to one minute. Use caution as bowl may be hot.
  4. Let stand for one minute before serving. Enjoy!
