What began as an idea in a restaurant prep kitchen has blossomed into an industry leading supplier and manufacturer of the highest quality, ready-to-eat custom food products.
Chef Creations draws on the multi-generational influences of its founders – founders who were literally raised in restaurant kitchens… and have never left them.
Serving a Purpose
Back in 1986, a group of Central Florida restaurateurs who operated a successful casual dining chain recognized a need for a company that could provide consistent, high quality, ready to use food products. Drawing from experience within their own chain of restaurants, they decided to take matters into their own hands and developed a “Quality Control Center” – a place where all critical, complicated and labor-intensive menu components could be assembled in safe and consistent manner by seasoned chefs. Immediately after establishing this “QCC,” their own restaurants not only saw a marked increase in food quality and consistency, but their kitchens were able to operate with fewer personnel hours as time spent on daily prep decreased dramatically.
Growth and Expansion
Since its inception, Chef Creations has had to move its facility four times in order to accommodate the company’s rapid growth. Today, there are teams of professional chefs overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing processes in the many different production areas of our plant. Our home is currently a 40,000 square foot, USDA & FDA inspected, state-of-the-art facility in Orlando, FL. And once again, we are in the midst of deciding where next to expand.
